Ill be 62 Oct 6,,so it was time to decide if its time to sign for Social Security,,the wife did it online,,Im signed up. The office is about 1/4 mile from our house.I did take the paper they sent me,,and go in person ,The waiting room was chock full,,very crowded with younger people,little kids running around,etc. Im not supposed to be in crowded areas,with the treatment my immune system is weak.I sat there a while,,took my ticket to the guard,and told him I would come back another time.He was about my age,,saw me with the bald head and cap,and gauze on my left arm,,and said,,its easy to do online,,wrote down the exact thing to type in,and handed it to me.The wife did it and it was easy.
