Saturday in NE KS it hit 104 with a heat index of 116. I had baled hay Saturday morning thinking I would be done by 10 and easily have the hay picked up and unloaded by noon. All sorts of issues with the baler (first time using it) and got done baling at 1:00. Rain coming (and it did come) and it was only a wagon load so we ran out to pick it up. First time in my life I threw up from over heating. Made driving that load home a loooong trip.
Only good thing was I got a call from a guy needing about 90 bales of hay. He came and got it so I didn't have to unload it.
