My daughter was home for the weekend from University and asked me to change her tires over to the summer ones. Broke off a wheel stud . Removed the hub assy to install new stud .I had her hold the hub on the vise while I hammered in the stud. Went and got a bigger hammer and took a swing and missed the punch completely smashing my thumb between the hammer and the hub. Split my thumb open on the bottom side and stuff came out that shouldn't have. She heard a few words that she has heard before. But her comment made me laugh. She said you just took a swing without a practice hit what do you expect to happen.I chased her around the shop a couple of times and then went in the house to get patched up so I could get her wheels on and send her back home.My wife told me to go get it looked at cause it was prety nasty looking. It also hurt alot to say the least.Of course I was too busy to do that. A week and half later the swelling is gone down some and I can start to bend it now.Not the first time won't be the last either.
