That sounds high for a ton of wood pellets. I am luck to be about 25 miles from the sawmill that bags excellent quality pellets. Local Menards had them on sale for $3.11 after 11% rebate for 40 # bags so I bought a pallet of 60. Transportation may be a price killer in your area though.
