Two things can cause squealing: Belts running too deep in the pulleys and not contacting the V sides only, Glazed pulley grooves that stick to and squeal as they release from the groove sides, and excessive load. Old belts that have rubber deterioration can also do it but that is not this case. Belt dressing can help on some (about 20 %). If the belts are the wrong V angle they can also be a problem. Belts from non brand name suppliers are also potential contributors. Jim
