I'm surprised, but I have a couple of "kids" on our shift at work that are pretty good with the tall tales. Of the eleven of us, six are 45-54, the other five are all under 30, youngest is 24.
He has been more places, raced more carts/cars/motorcycles/boats/snowmobiles/airplanes than I have ever even seen. At 24, he has risen to management in all three of his previous jobs, has a six year old son with a girl from out of state, and another with his now-wife, and they just bought a $300K home, which he could have paid cash for he says.
The next youngest can really spool some yarn, usually more with tales from the trailer trash lifestyle he grew up in, and still falls back to today.
I guess there is hope for the future of the "Bend the Truth Club" after all.
