See posts here a lot like the one below about how bad city people are when they move into an area and some can be a pain just like some country/farmer folks can be a pain.But there is a lot of good that comes with them too.Around my area which used to be really rural the farms have been broken up mostly into 5 to 25 acre lots with some high density subdivisions.None of my new neighbors have a bull that tears up my fences.No longer have to compete or even pay rent for all the hay land I want as I get to cut these new folks property for free.With the new people came many retail stores and restaurants in the area so I don't have to drive 50 miles to go to a good grocery store there are a dozen or more within 10 miles.If the wife and I want to go out to eat there are countless places from hamburger joints to some very high class places.The people themselves are for the most part very nice and easy to get a long with, sure there are some that aren't but not all farmers are easy to get along with either.Kids that are born here don't have to go someplace else to find a good or even great job.Many apparently are very well off building Million$ and up houses that's fine by me I think a lot of times rural people don't like new comers because they are jealous of what they have not me I like living around rich people they'll give me stuff I could never go out and buy.Plus if I want to grow things like vegetables to sell I'm in the middle of a great market.Just another perspective on so called city people. And Oh I like the bike riders on the road by my house even the ones with helmets(LOL) as they slow down the cars and trucks.
