About five years ago I bought a brand new Stihl chainsaw. 65cc 25 inch bar etc. Cost me about $700. Well about a month or so before this my B-I-L was cutting firewood with an old worn out Poulan. I felt sorry for him and I sold him a 372XP Husqvarna for my cost $125 . Bought it from a Pawn shop. Looked liked it had been ran over by a train. But it had excellent compression ( iirc in the 150-175 range) all the internals were excellent shape. Well back to story I let him have for dirt cheap. New they were $750 (again iirc) at the time. So about a month goes by and he calls and wants to borro my new saw to go cut firewood for profit for a coworker of his. I ask want happened to that Husky saw. Says he needed smokes sold it to the neighbor for $75 .so I tell him no. He then proceeds to blow up my wifes ( his sister) phone at work. He asked me to borrow something else some time later. I gave him the number to "a friend" that had one and would let him borrow it. I didnt tell him the nunber was to a local rental yard. Sorry for the rant but now you know why I dont feel sorry for people any more

Today's Featured Article - Restoring a John Deere 2010 Diesel Tractor - by Jim Nielsen. Following seven years working in California's Silicon Valley, my wife, baby son and I moved back to Australia to retire. We bought a small 'farm' of about 50 acres near Bendigo, in the state of Victoria. I soon found that it would be very useful to have a tractor around the place for things such as grading our long drive and brush-hogging the fields. I was also embarking on planting 1000 eucalyptus trees, and hence I would need a ripper, small disk plow, sprayer etc. to get these things accompli ... [Read Article]
