I have the same problem dealing with clueless city people who can not comprehend that rural people have to drive to a post office to pick up the mail.
Had one gal that said she could not accept a PO Box address, she insisted there must be a sign on the road I live on.
I told here yes there was a sign up at the intersection, all snotty as can be she said good now we are getting somewhere and asked me what the sign said.
She got real quiet and her attitude changed after I told her the sign said DEAD END.
