Our old whirlpool bit the dust about 2 years ago.I should have fixed but didn't.Went and bought a new G E that was a mistake but it was one of only 3 that has a dasher.But it might as well not have it will not get clothes clean.Me an the whole family hates the damn thing.My neighbor give me a 14 year old whirlpool he thought it had a motor burnt up. But didn't did a bunch of testing and it was the lid switch,about $6. Been working perfect for a year.I parked that G E in the back of the basement.It will never b used here again,in fact I won' never buy anything G E again.The neighbor that give me the old whirlpool bought a G E similar to the one I got and they hate it too.
