In about 2011, I bought a flex head ratchet there, which broke the first time I used it (first of their China tools). I took it back and begged them for an old US made replacement, which luckily I got (and still have, just used it the other day).
I havent been back since. I broke a breaker bar almost a year ago and havent been bothered to return it.
Sears is 100% dead to me since they sabotaged their Craftsman line. Sometimes I think "Man, I wish I could just go to the local sears and buy this size of wrench that I need" except they likely dont sell it anymore and if they do, its crap. So, I pull out my phone instead and buy an SK online or a used one on ebay for $6 and its at my door a few days later.
My run with craftsman tools was great, while it (they) lasted.
