Came home from college one evening (commuter), and there was a skunk hanging out on the back porch. Went to the other side of the house, knocked on the window, and had dad hand out the shotgun. He said not to shoot it on the porch, and I told him to get it off the porch. He came flying out the door, grabbed the skunk by the tail, whipped it around a couple revolutions and threw it out in the yard. Skunk ran for the garden with me in hot persuit. When it reached the garden, It went into a crouch, and I knew what was coming. So I blasted it. KNOW WHAT A 12 GAGE SHOTGUN BLAST AT 6' DOES TO A SKUNK? Ended up having to bury half the garden!
