They do have integral valve guides (cast into the head), there is a lot of material around them so they can be reamed oversize. The valve seats have inserts that can be changed, I can find them for the intake, but not for the exhaust. Diesels usually use Tungsten Carbide material for the valve seats, the longer it gets run the harder the valve seat gets, and it makes them last even longer.
I'm currently rebuilding the head now on my 1971 4500 with the 201 diesel, the valve guides are worn some . It's cheaper to just ream the valve guides oversize, and replace them with valves with oversize stems. With valve guide inserts you have to ream the guides bigger, press the new guides in, then ream the new guide to the right diameter. The valve seats just need to be cut a little bit to make sure the surface of the 45 degree angle is flat so the valves will have a good seat to seal properly.
