I filled the rears on my 46" Husqvarna tractor. Works Great! You need to understand that when you put fluid in your rears the weight is as low as you can go. It will lower the center of gravity on your machines by several inches. Mowing on a slope, I am holding onto the edge of the fender and my rear is sliding out of the seat, and the mower is still going righ along. As Brenden said 8 gallons or even a bit more. With both filled you can get a little over 8lbs. per gallon so we are adding 120 or so pounds. Just remember that the weight is from the ground up. Not somewhere up on the tractor. Worth filling them!.
