Ok Philip, I have been on a dairy farm my whole life, and we also have a gen set,and I have no idea what a ups is. ups to me is short for United Parcel Service. So what are we talking about here. On our farm we have a pole switch , and disconnect from the grid , the plug in the gen set, and power up the whole farm. I do understand that you need a battery back up for your VMS . Bruce
