back in 85 on the f250.. there were.. lug piloted rims and hub piloted rims.. depending on which f250 you had. the hd model had the hub piloted rims and the center hole in the rim had to fit exactly on the hub ring as it carried the weight, so this rim must be exact!!!..
the light one, was a lug piloted rim, meaning that the weight was only carried on the lug nuts so the center hole was not as critical. I think the 80 model was a lug piloted rim.. but I would check to be sure.
