So a shot bear traveled over 200 miles to hibernate in a corn field after being shot in WI Somehow I don't buy that part of this story. Kinross MI is just off I-75 between Rudyard and Sault Saint Marie MI the east end of the UP. I did read a story a couple of years ago about a guy in WI that found a bear under the wheel of his combine. That was in WI I think. Combine got stuck in the hole dug by the bear or some such deal.
