Firestone still makes decent ag tires in the US, so I guess it's good somebody buys their automotive tires and keeps them in business, but it sure won't be me. Firestone's crappy quality has led to two major recalls: the Firestone 500 fiasco nearly bankrupted the company back in the late seventies, resulting in the company's purchase by Bridgestone. Then they did it again in 2000.
When the OEM Firestones on my Silverado wear out, they'll be replaced by Michelins.
