The engine went in my sons car Monday. Not worth fixing. He bought another car but a year ago he put a brand new battery in the old one. His new to him car is 5 yrs old. Would he be better off seeing if he can get half new price for the near new battery and getting a new one if/when he needs one again or would it stay good if left on a shelf for several years? It's a 72 mo warranty Car Quest. Thank you for any suggestions.
