Great story, Straw Boss. I'm sure many here have come from similar situations. When we remodeled this house, we removed oak flooring laid North/South and reinstalled it East/West. Many nights spent with my Dad pulling boards, straightening nails and pulling them out. Lots of nails to pull when the lath and plaster came off. Some of the wood we found was clearly recycled from a previous structure when this house was built in the 1920's Some of it was just reused in a room structure I am building inside my pole barn. And the big box of bent, cut nails is still waiting to be straightened here, as well.
