Wow, I was feeling ripped off today. The wifey had to go grocery shopping and some other errands this morning. We have a 2010 impala. She made a couple of stops and then to the grocery store. Came out from there, and car wouldn't start. There is a privately owned car repair shop at the far end of the parking lot. She walked over and told them about her problem. They sent a guy rite over and jump her car and she drove it over to their shop, and they tested battery. No Good. It was the original GM battery. They installed a new Interstate battery which cost $119.oo. Total bill including tax, $151 and change. I guess I shouldn't complain for their prompt service and saving me a 20 mile trip in my PU to start her car. and then back home again with a new bat. from my auto supply store, and then screw around putting the new one in.
