UD -- Don't know if this'll help or hurt, but up here has been a VERY dark (cloudy) and gloomy Winter thus far. I recently ordered a pair of these LED lights to help see in my make-shift Winter shop and BOY-HOWDY, do these things light up the darkness!! They only use 100 watts of power, but....well, they're simply amazing! They plug into any 3-prong outlet and have an on/off switch in-line in the cord. They say the switch isn't waterproof, but the light is.
I liked that one so much that I ordered (2) 50W and (4) 20W lights from the same manufacturer. That 20W light....seems like 2 of those might just equal the light output of the 100W!! WOW!
Now for the bad part: Wife wasn't feeling too well when the first lights came (the 100W'ers) so I carried one into the bedroom and tried it out for her. (No, I didn't blind her with it! ....Well, not intentionally, anyhow. *lol*) Yup, it lit that room up like the brightest of daytimes!! Only problem was, she saw a couple cobwebs and that the ceiling needs painting. ....So maybe it ISN'T such a good idea! *lol*
