Remember hearing him on the amateur bands years ago, still think I have a QSL card here from him, in one of the piles, a pretty talented guy, didn’t know who he was at the time, we didn’t have QRZ.com then, just the old call book.
Not a bad movie, tried to get the kids to watch it today, most of it is lost on the younger generations, the house in Cleveland is open for tours last I herd, with all the trips I made past there I never had a chance to stop, maybe some day.
Oh the good old days, I still love the old tube radios, and the wife can’t understand my boxes and boxes of tubes.
