The players are a joke when it comes to academics. Having been involved in the rental market for many years in a college town, I have had too much first had contact with these pro-wannabe's. Now we have Roger Good-for-nothing determined to run the NFL into the ground. That will seal the fate for college ball. It will no longer be profitable to waste youth on gladiator entertainment. It's too bad, I used to enjoy watching until the league spat on me and fellow veterans. Have not watched a game this season, and only a couple last year.
