I buy 10 t-stats at a time for my welder repair business 180 degree, I have been putting 5 at a time on a piece of bent hay wire across the top of one of the wifes pots full of water hold a thermometer in there turn the heat on and watch for the ones that will open at 180 degrees. I'm averaging 3 to 4 t-stats that open at 180, 1 or 2 will open at 190 to 200 the rest won't open at any temp. the duds I take back. just a heads up for you and these are stant t-stats not cheap jobbers??
