I posted this on the Ford board but thought I would post it here as well. The clutch rod snapped at the 90 deg bend just as I was letting out the clutch, fortunately nothing was in the way but it sure had me thinking about what could have happened if I was inching up to a truck or something. I was able to weld it back together but I don't trust it so I bought a adjustable rod end and a new rod that I threaded the ends on. I am going to install it today it should be a lot better than original.
