I don't believe they cut over 200 acres per day per machine with 10 machines to get that acreage. I know it has been about 25 years since I went on a harvest crew. We were using 9600's with 10 of them we cut about 100 acres per day per machine. Did get a few times with 200 per machine but only a couple of days when all the fields were contiguous or close to it. We couldn't do any 5 mile travels and get that. We had 10 9600's 2, 1240 Kinze carts and an 840 Kinze. 5 semi's with 5 bobtails with pups. In ID we got the farmers trucks and we let ours set. The carts were pulled with a 876 versatile ,1360 Stieger and a 4955 Deere. We had to split the machines up to keep them from being in the way with that much equipment in one field.
