My wife received a similar notice from Florida DOT last summer. It was a poor quality photo that was supposed to the plate on her 1996 Saturn. We sold that car over 2 1/2 years ago and the plate in question is still in our possesion. I’m sure the car was scrapped. We signed the title over when we sold the car. How do they get your address when the registration has not been renwed for over 2 years? I called the number on the notice and was instructed to call back in 2 weeks, which I did. On the second call they indicated the car had been caught 2 more times on toll cameras. We have not heard anything for 3 or 4 months. Hope it went away. Ron
