The Frod 5000 is a old tractor, and as far as parts are concerned Case/NewHolland has more or less forgotten them. I would go with the newer 895 CaseIH myself. Far more of these tractors built through the IH 884- CaseIH 885 and CaseIH 895 production run, so parts availability should be better longer. I had a 885 CIh as well as a Ford 5640 , was what the 5000 evolved into, both were strong reliable tractors, the 885 had 72 hp Ford had 66 hp
