I sure would've liked to have gotten my hands on that bent, twisted flooring!! I would have let it air dry thoroughly with weight on it, stacked and stickered. Then, anything still twisted would get cut into shorter, straighter pieces. And finally, all the boards would be planed to an even thickness. That wood would have been great for future flooring, or any number of other projects. A bit of work, but that's the cost for free wood, right? :wink:
