Hi I'm switching my chore tractor over to BKT's. Our local tire shop sells loads of them for the cheaper price than other major names. Here in Canada certain popular sizes sell out real quick from the importer to. I have been told they need to sit a few months before you fit them as many are still soft from manufacture when they come into the country Though.
I picked one older stock front up incase my other tire blew, then had to wait for the other to be imported into Canada. you could dig your nail in the fresh new one, but not the other. I was told the softer one would wear out quicker. I'm not in a huge hurry to fit them so can wait, I'm waiting for the very last $2 use out of the @#$%^! junk Michelin agribibs with good treads on. But the walls are falling out of, all 4 tires will then be the BKT's and I won't ever have Michelins on a tractor I own ever again. My friends got exactly the same issue with his tractor and Michelins and he knows other guys as well with issues. Regards Robert
