Hello everyone, i got a question.
My dads farmall 560 diesel tractor has a dead battery. But if it runs it stays on, but once you stop the engine, it will not start again. My thought is that its a bad battery. Ive been reading about this topic and apparently you either need two 6v batteries in series or two 12v batteries in parallel. Is this correct? I know how to put batteries in parallel, but i just want to make sure this is done properly. The last thing my dad needs is to spend 100's of dollars for new batteries, and they die again or dont work as planned... can anyone help me figure out which is best for the tractor, as well as for our wallet? It doesnt start in a snap, since it is a diesel engine. We are going to use it pretty frequently...
