biggest problem is motivation. when i first moved down here 12 years ago i had a need for bearings and races and seals all the way around for a case 310c got a quote for 3200.00 from a local supplier here. thought that was kinda high, so a fella i used to deal with back home give me a quote for 1800.00. so afterwards i would check back with old suppliers and usually come out ahead every time. it is the mindset of the local suppliers that cause the high prices, and as a purchaser if you go along with them then you become part of the problem sorry to say.
