Ignition switch question: I have an old Ranch King tractor tug and the keyed ignition switch went to "dead switch" heaven so I went to Tractor Supply and bought a universal ignition switch w/ keys. Upon opening the packaging I put the key in the switch and tried to see if it worked smoothly - it didn't. In fact it will not move from anyone position to another. I took it back to tractor supply and the gentleman said he knowledge of things electrical was nill=good luck.!!!! Before I dig the old switch out of the control deck can someone advise if the switch needs to be electrically charged (installed) before it can be moved before the key can move it from one position to another? My knowledge is about the same as The TSC fellow...Thanks and I expect to get some heckling over this lack of knowledge..jb
