Years ago the wife wanted a spot to grow giant pumpkins. Borrowed the neighbors 2-14 plow and went after a piece of ground behind the house that I'd never worked before.
A couple passes in and WHAM! We don't have any rock around me so WTF? Backed up and got unhooked from whatever was down there. Got a shovel and started digging a bit and found a 6+ foot long section of foundation wall and footing. Evidently a prior owner had buried it to get rid of it from some remodel job.
Took a lot of shoveling before I could get a chain around it and pull it out.
