Nufied tractors had been imported into Canada in the late 50’sand early 60’s. Wasn’t a huge up take on these British built tractors because there still wasn’t a wide acceptance of diesel tractors till the mid 60’s. As had been already stated they became Leyland , and later were painted yellow and called Marshal tractors. I think they ended production in the 1990’s. We had a local fella that held a dealership, sold a few did repairs and sold parts. These tractors had a bad reputation for being unstable, and could overturn. And this was sadly brought to the for front when this dealers son was out test driving a tractor that they had repaired in the shop. He drove the tractor up the road about a half mile, and while he was turning around to head back to the shop, it flipped over on top of him , and crushed him to death.
