That would be a ride I would love to take. A speed record is only yours until someone else breaks it and then you start over and try to get it back. If I had the time and the money I would love to do something like that. I bought some flathead Ford V8 parts some years ago from a old Gentleman near me and was surprised to find out he had held numerous records at Bonneville in classes using flatheads in the 50's and early 60's. He said one year he held and lost the same class record four times in one week so no matter how fast you go someone else out there is going to find a way to go faster. I guess you could tell me you are going to try and set the record for the world's fastest mini bike and if was close enough I'd go watch!
