Hi Goose, my daughter has a Nissan with tire pressure sensors in each wheel and last fall the dash low tire indicator was coming on and indicating the right rear tire had low tire pressure but checking the pressures manually everything was OK. Eventually the left rear tire went soft and she took it to the tire shop and they took the tire off and the sensor that was part of the valve stem had broken off and was flopping around inside the tire. The tire shop also found out that the last time the dealer had rotated the tires, they had not reprogrammed the tire sensor computer to the proper location of the wheel on the car.
