People at the Lake of the Ozarks where Old is close to come down from the cities in the spring and their toys won't start so O'Reilly's gets a huge influx of (usually) deep cycle batteries as cores for new ones because they don't want to charge them. As long as Old's friend is sending the warehouse the correct number of core batteries there is no harm. The employees have first shot at all the good cores. Did it many times in my 20 years at OR.
