Hi if you know tractors you'll get it. Iv'e brought and sold many over the years, and not brought a good few more. The clock said 4000 hours and all the grips where worn off the clutch pedal or half way off the brake pedals or even worn totally smooth. then start looking at wear in the gear linkages and other parts. that tractor was more likely 14000 hours round the clock once or twice than one careful owner at 4000 hours, I've seen 4020 Deeres twice round with one family owner show 6000 hrs and they looked worn out!.
I own a Belarus tractor here we brought new in 96, ours has 5000 plus hard loader tractor hours on and is worn out, a guy close to here i fix for has the same model tractor 200 tractors different in serial number. his has 9000 hours on the clock and is still like new. you can tell his has been left in the yard with the key turned on sometimes clocking "electric hours" or has been left idling in the cold weather over it's life. if a guy was so inclined it could have a 4000 hour clock fitted and you'd never know what happened. Regards Robert
