Dad worked for the IH farm machinery dealer in the 40 s through the 50 s. In 46 our peresent farmall was bought by a farmer in the area of Sarnia Ontario, he brought it back shortly there after; traided it for a much larger model ( either h or m). Dad used it to move and assemble equipmeht on the lot; liked it so much and its' capabilities he bought it: in 65 when we sold the farm, a friend bought it. Then in 82 he brought it up to where I lived near Goderich Ontario; Gave it back to me. (I know dad was excited about this transaction.) In 91 the engine gave trouble: have just finished full rebuild, and put over 10 hours on it ( 5 or so of these mowing tall grass along a forest trail here we live.) As I say, don't know if this counts as continuous ownership and running, this is my trators' story. A late model ( August / Septemger) 1946 Farmall BN now repaited in cream white cream in memory and to signify its specialty. Wm.
