Today I found soybean plants on a side hill near my pond all defoliated. Looks like army worms had made a pass. I found all kinds of manure which looks like goose and duck as well as some feathers. So, I assume it is geese that fly in to the water and walk out and eat. I rode around the pond in the grass on my 4 wheeler and could not stir anything up. Nothing on the water. What can scare them away or do them in??????? I am not against killing them if I have to. Neighbor says you can scare them away after a few attempts. They are probably eating either in the early morning or evening. Probably about a 1/4 acre gone. Most of the beans will come back if I can stop the feeding. Thanks.
