check with your provider- our local Verizon store has an oven set-up to rescue them. they said most important was DO NOT TURN IT ON OR CHARGE IT. It shut off to protect itself, get it dried out first. Most people, myself included, try to turn it back on first thing, usually shorting something out. Last time I dropped mine in the loader bucket, into a small puddle of chainsaw gas, it was done. I replaced it with a Kyocera armored model, has been bulletproof for four years or more.
