Here in so east minn. we had high wind 3 weeks ago and some of the corn was tipped over. since then it has straitened up but might be difficult harvesting if the stalks are bent. the area along highway 74 between chatfied and st. charles was hit hard in in the valleys. my corn on the ridge was ok but some of the corn in the low areas was rough. the corn looks good and the beans are in great shape. been dry here but got a little rain today. will help the late sweetcorn. the girl from the packing company was by checking the sweet corn she is from southern iowa her dad says its dry down there and they need rain bad.
