Well, I got my nephew started on this hobby. He finally got to a point where he could afford some tractors. He was able to buy his grandpas Allis CA and then his great uncles JD 2010 which he bought new, He moved them to his FIL's farm and was just starting to tinker with the JD. A few nights ago the barn got hit by lightening. He happened to be visiting and saw it happen. 10 mins from hit to fully engulfed. They got a modern JD and baler out and the CA. But the 2010 and 4 other vintage Olivers fried along 7000 bales of straw. So the family JD is gone, but, its only stuff. Sad, but we move on.
