Jeffcat, I fully understand. My old McCormick Deering 15-30 can go 3 MPH at most. Only place I've gone is the Labor Day Parade. The smiles and salutes I get are SO worth it. This business of maintaining a 10 mph speed is wrong on so many levels. I also have a Renault Caravelle that belonged to my girlfriend's sister. No way can that car keep up with today's traffic so I crank her up early Saturday or Sunday and go riding, waving at the other early risers. By 'crank' that's one of the few remaining vehicles that kept the hand crank as an option, ending in 1967.
