posting this here for the fastest response, today i was running a finish mower with my john deere 850, compact tractor, it stopped for no reason, now ive had trouble with the filter a few months ago and replaced it, i noticed the fuel shut off handle didnt feel right then , today i checked that and it fell off in my hand, now i figure that probably also shut off the fuel since none is coming out the hole in the assembly where the handle was, at least i hope that's whats wrong, the tank is full, the ones i found online says the sell is gone for awhile, that doesnt help, i need the thing operating. anybody know where i can buy the whole filter and shut off assembly? or does it need that, there is a line in and a line out of it, can i run a inline filter in place of that assembly? or does it need to be there?
