Be thankful you can order a new one. The axle on my CL 40 broke years ago and none were available so I had it repaired. It lasted about 8 years when it broke a second time. I bought a used axle off E-Bay and when I got it saw that it was also an older repair. It has been on the machine for 2 years with no issues. I'm very cautious about sharp turns and hard digging, but I'm sure my issue will return. If you are going to keep the machine for a while, you might want to get a spare.
