The length of travel from disengaged , to engaged, in my 4490 has become a very short stroke, from not being engaged at all , to suddenly fully engaged. Doesnt seem to have any room for slowly engaging. I do not have a service manual for it, only an operators manual which tells me nothing. Can any one give me some advice on what could be the problem, what to check, and how? Any help is appreciated. Also, is it possible if I am having issues, that the clutch itself is not getting full pressure and and could allow the clutch to slip, assoicated with the cause of the clutchs other issue I first asked about?
