OK, this post has several pics. Reason is, I've been trying to remember the other small tractor we had growing up. Was on the phone with Jon F MN earlier when out of the blue it hit me. I yelled something like, "That's what it was!", or something to that effect. Am pretty certain Jon thought I was losing my mind! *lol*
I think ours was an 11hp, which would make it the last pic - a Speedex 1140. We had a belly mower, a single-row disc, and a single plow. The rear hitch is hand-powered -- the stronger you are, the more it'll lift! :shock: I remember the belly mower kept breaking down, so since he had a machine shop there at home, he built a new deck from scratch. ...Don't think I've ever seen a single photo of that tractor. Anyway, hope ya'll enjoy my romp through memory lane.
